What is a desk-based assessment?

A Desk-Based Assessment (DBA) aims to determine the nature, extent and significance of the historic environment within a specified area. It can be used to manage risk and formulate a strategy for mitigation. Expert, qualified opinion and local knowledge reduce the risk of unforeseen problems as you progress your scheme. We are ready to work for you.

We have years of archaeological experience, and aim to produce clear assessments of your heritage site. Contact us today. Based in Warwick, we serve clients in the Midlands and across the UK.

A DBA is not always needed!

In some local authority areas a DBA is not always necessary as the local archaeological advisors already know the issues that your development will encounter and can advise you accordingly.
